The house is camp-style, with original kitchen hardwood cabinets, vaulted ceilings, and lots of windows for that wonderful view of the water!! Both bathrooms have been NEWLY remodeled. The first floor has all new flooring and a new sliding glass door and screen.
The kitchen is updated with new cabinets, lighting and countertop. This camp has just become a hidden gem!
There is a gas grill and dining on the deck. The open concept kitchen, dining room and living room give your family plenty of room to spread out.
First floor: Bedroom with a king bed, full newly remodeled bathroom with a washer/dryer
Second floor: Bedroom 1 has a king bed, bedroom 2 has two twins, bedroom 3 has two mini- twins.
There is a newly remodeled full bathroom on the second floor and a spacious landing for games, reading and birdwatching.
There is a new propane heater for heat on the main floor. Fans are provided for cooling. There is usually an ocean breeze for those warmer days. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking, linens and bedding are included, the coffee maker is a drip kind.
There are no fires or smoking allowed
A full sized washer/dryer are in the home.
Canoes and kayaks can be rented 1/2 mile from the house on Long pond.
Swimming is also allowed at the house, and down the street at Long Pond. There is not a "path" to the pond, it is literally in front of the house. The level of the pond may vary from season to season.
Free Island bus, station 1/2 mile from the house. ANP Trails 1/2 mile from the house, approx. 244 more hiking, walking and biking. Close to restaurants, Bar Harbor, SW Harbor, stores, etc.
