We loved the location, the layout, and the stocked kitchen. We were glad to have AC since temp was 90 degrees the day we arrived. There is nothing fancy about this place but we were fine with that. Walking from the house to the quarry was an unexpected bonus. Nice private setting in the woods which we loved too!
My wife, our three children (ages 12, 10, and 10), and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cabin. It was very clean and provided the perfect atmosphere for a visit to Maine. While it is not a particularly fancy or luxurious property, its simplicity is exactly what makes it special—it has everything you need to relax and enjoy your time exploring Acadia National Park. The location is excellent, with easy access to Acadia, Bar Harbor, and the surrounding areas. The woods around the cabin were a highlight for our children, providing hours of entertainment as they explored and enjoyed the outdoors. The property feels private and peaceful, tucked away among the trees while still being conveniently located. We would happily stay here again!
